Richard instructed weight training 101 at the Eastern Connecticut State College and then continued personal training at the Sequoia Athletic Racquetball Club in Anaheim California from 1997-1999. Richard decided to continue his career closer to family which brought him to Florida where he began personal training at The “Q” Sports Club in Coral Springs Florida from 1999-2001.
Richard has been personally training his clients at “The Next Level, Inc.” Personal Training Facility in Coral Springs, Florida. He has completed courses and specializes in “Strength and Fitness, Exercise and Pregnancy, Psychology for Health and Fitness, Post injury Fitness, and Creatine Supplementation." Richard recently has become Certified as a “Nutrition Specialist,” through Dr. Jane Pentz who holds Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Nutritional Biochemistry and has dedicated her career to help Americans become healthier through lifestyle changes.
Currently, Richard personal trains his clients at his own facility called “All 4 One Fitness”, located in the heart of Coral Springs.
Richard believes that designing training programs to maximize benefits and to minimize any possible risks requires a fine balance between intense training, proper rest, exercise modification, and proper food intake. Single weight training sessions are the building blocks of any long-term weight training program. Each session must be carefully planned to meet the goals and needs of the individual and variation of training is needed to ensure continued long-term strength, power, or fitness gains.
